Issue with BCP

Hello. I forget the options I chose in the wizard; it got the objects created in my Azure DB but didn't BCP the data there. The BCP commands to use are at the bottom of the script. I'm having trouble with the BCP itself not connecting to my Azure server (I have my IP registered). "SQL Server is not found or not accessible". What should the -S argument look like?,1433

BTW, great video on this.

Hi Ken,

This is what the full bcp command should look like:

bcp.exe "[AnescanSites].[dbo].[Sites]" out "c:\SQLAzureMW\BCPData\dbo.Sites.dat" -E -n -S -U "bygeo" -P "T0p$cret!"

If you saved your results, I list all of the full BCP commands at the bottom of the results so that you don't have to run SQLAzureMW again. You can just run the BCP commands from the command line if you need to.

As a side note, my BCP version is: 11.0.2100.60

I hope this helps. If not, let me know.

OK, worked now. Not sure why I couldn't connect earlier. The Migration Wizard had created all the .dat files. What I'm running are all the bcp IN commands.
