Hello,

SQL Azure doesn't allow accessing to fields with name like "dbo.DBNAME.FIELDNAME".

SQL Azure MW detect that problem, but there is an easy fix for it.

In the FROM, we can rename the database then use that new name to access to the field :

SELECT DBN.[FIELDNAME]
FROM [dbo].[DBNAME] AS DBN

When working on my database, I got that problem only with the views, and that fix did the trick.

Maybe that patch could be add to you're Wizard.

Hi Mathieu,

I have thought about that, but I can't figure out an good way to implement it.  I would have to do some kind of multi pass parser.  Something like writing a full blown SQL Parser.  I can keep it on my list, but it will be a long way off unless I figure out how to do it sooner.

Sorry,
George
