Failing without error messages?

Quarterly for years I've been running SQL MW to migrate a bunch of tables from our SQL Server to an Azure SQL db.

This quarter there were tables missing data twice (i.e. I redid the entire migration after first sign of problem). What was different this time was:
  1. Recently downloaded latest version of Migration Wizard
  2. Azure SQL dbs are now V12 (which I indicated when running the wizard)
Has anyone else experienced a problem like this?

BTW, our company SQL Server is also in Azure hosted as a VM but that is not a new thing

Hi,

I have not seen this issue. Out of curiosity:

1) What version of SQLAzureMW are you running? 3.15.6, 4.15.6, or 5.15.6?
2) What version of SQL Server are you running SQLAzureMW on?
3) What version of Windows OS are you running on?
4) Is the issue always with the same table?

In the directory where your data files are stored (i.e. C:\SQLAzureMW\BCPData), you will see txt files with your table name. This stores the BCP output and the number of records copied? Do they match what they are supposed to be? Do you see any errors in there?

Thanks,
George
