*= and =* operators can not run on sql 2012

Hi,

I not sure mean of above 2 operators, and it can not run on sql server 2012.

Please let me know about them if somebody know them!

Hi,

In earlier versions of Microsoft® SQL Server™, left and right outer join conditions were specified in the WHERE clause using the *= and =* operators. In some cases, this syntax results in an ambiguous query that can be interpreted in more than one way. Because of this (and maybe other reasons that I don't know), Microsoft deprecated the old TSQL style joins. Check out this link.
