Hi,
I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind:
1)
What version of SQL Server are you running on your Windows 8 machine?
2)
What is the error message you are getting from SQLAzureMW?
Note that on my Windows 8 machine I am running SQLAzureMW v4.0.9 with SQL Server 2012 Express Edition (with tools).
Regards,
George

Well I just downloaded the latest from the website again and SQLAzureMW.exe ran successfully on Win 8.
I swear this kept failing when I tried it a coupe of days ago with a Windows runtime error.
In any case, I was able to connect to SQL Server and script it out.
In hindsight I must have downloaded a corrupt copy.
I will remove by rating now.
Thanks for following up.
